ABOUT

Rachel.Rach.Rachie Roo.Ray Ray.PACH

One spring morning a Mumma and Papa welcomed a baby girl.
They thought about Rebecca and thought about Reagan but eventually, they decided on Rachel.

Pappa

I've had the writing bug since I was a little chick.

I've always kept both a planner and a diary.
I can write and write and write.

Mumma

I am an only child in a life full of people.

Lots of people say I look like my Mumma.
Us rocking our reds.

Yep.
I'm an Aussie.
Most recently from the sands of the Northern Beaches in Sydney
 and
prior to that the sands of Sisters Beach, Tasmania.

They may be two of the most beautiful places on earth.

Beautiful. NEW YORK

People often ask me, "why New York?" and I reply, "why not?"

This truly is the city that never sleeps. The diversity is endless, the hustle is ongoing, the excitement is present and the adventure is constant.

Paper Planes you say?

The name of this blog is... Paper Planes.
A paper plane is something created. Unpredictable. It will alsmost ALWAYS land in the opposite place to where you have thrown it. It can be any colour, any size and can end up absolutely anywhere depending on how hard you throw it and from where it is you're standing. So just throw it and see what happens.

This is my journey. My very own Paper Plane. Onward.

  2. Dear Rachel,

I am truly loving your blog. I love the connection between you and a paper plane. I've wondered that since I heard about your blog. Plus I only just discovered the 'about' button. For privacy reasons I've stayed anonymous but it has totally rocked having you back in Australia although I know your heart belongs in New York.
